Founder, Owner, Designer
Carly hails from just outside Boston and has always been immersed in art. Starting with illustrative graphite work, then diving into intricate ink drawings, she's all about detail and realism. Her love for animals, nature, and the ocean shines through in her work, influenced by her childhood as an equestrian and her life as a dive master.

After earning a degree in Studio Art and Anthropology
from the College of Charleston, Carly took a hiatus from her creative pursuits to embark on a Caribbean adventure. Upon returning to the States, her fascination with tufting became all-consuming—obsessing over process videos, graphic rug designs, and everything related to tufting. This obsession eventually led to a spontaneous decision: she ordered a tufting gun, eager to see where this new artistic journey would take her.
-
Fast forward a few months,
Carly sold her first rug, marking the birth of Lil Tufts Co! Embraced by Charleston's vibrant artistic community, her work quickly found its way into markets across the city, storefronts, and a rapidly expanding online platform.

Surrounded by inspiration both in and around Charleston,
as well as from her various adventures, Carly's designs mirror her deep affection for all things aquatic, tropical, and coastal.
Her artistic journey not only found a welcoming home but also became a testament to the boundless creativity that stems from embracing impulsive and passionate pursuits.
